Shipping & Delivery

At ShelterPro, we understand that getting your site under cover quickly is a priority. We work with a network of specialised New Zealand freight providers to ensure your container shelter arrives safely, whether you are in a central metro hub or a remote rural block.

Our Delivery Process

1. Order Confirmation & Dispatch Once your order is confirmed, our team in Pukekohe prepares your shelter for dispatch. We aim to have all in-stock units processed and ready for the road within [Number] working days.

2. Transit Times Delivery times vary based on your location:

  • North Island: Estimated 3–5 working days.

  • South Island: Estimated 5–10 working days.

  • Rural Delivery: Please allow an additional 2–3 days for remote access areas.

3. Freight Tracking Once your shelter has left our yard, we will provide you with tracking details or a direct contact for the freight carrier so you can coordinate your site crew for its arrival.

 

Site Access & Unloading

Our shelters are industrial-grade products and are shipped in heavy-duty packaging. Please ensure the following:

  • Vehicle Access: Your site must be accessible by a heavy truck (and potentially a trailer). If your access is narrow, steep, or restricted, please let Tony or the crew know at the time of ordering.

  • Unloading Equipment: Unless specifically arranged with us, customers are responsible for providing a forklift or telehandler with the appropriate lift capacity to unload the unit.

  • Hiab Delivery: If you require a Hiab crane truck for precision placement or because you lack unloading equipment, please contact us for a custom delivery quote.

 

Receiving Your Order

Inspect Upon Arrival When your delivery arrives, please perform a quick visual inspection of the packaging. In the unlikely event of transit damage:

  1. Note the damage on the driver’s consignment note.

  2. Take a few clear photos of the affected area.

  3. Contact the ShelterPro team within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue immediately.

Local Pickup

Prefer to use your own transport? We offer local pickup from our Pukekohe yard by appointment. Tony and the crew will help load your trailer or truck to ensure you’re set for a safe journey back to your site.
